Green Deal Officially Live

2nd October, 2012

The Government’s flagship Green Deal initiative, launched on 1 October, heralds the beginnings of a retrofit programme that will present enormous opportunities for businesses in 2013 and beyond.

“The Green Deal will empower consumers by giving them new ways of funding home improvements, and empower businesses by enabling them to compete for energy efficiency opportunities in new and innovative ways,” commented Minister of State Greg Barker. “It will boost the low carbon economy by supporting up to 60,000 jobs in the insulation sector alone by 2015, up from around 26,000 today.”

So what does this mean for your business? What role can your organisation play? What do you need to know?

Find the answers to all your Green Deal questions in one place at Retro Expo. Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from 30 October to 1 November, Retro Expo aims to provide strategic, practical and technical advice using real life examples to give all the know-how you need in order to embark on your retrofit journey.

The Green Deal Summit is THE definitive conference on the Green Deal addressing key issues such as finance, generating demand, ensuring high standards of workmanship and achieving affordable technological solutions. With speakers including DECC, Green Deal Finance Company, Energy Saving Trust, Gentoo Green, Willmott Dixon, Arup, Tesco, SHAP, BPF, this is one not to be missed!

“Whilst Green Deal and ECO are huge opportunities for the energy efficiency market, there’s also a high level of misunderstanding – Retro Expo will help you to find your niche and get the facts straight.” said David Adams, Technical Director at Willmott Dixon Energy Services Limited.
Over the 3 days, Retro Expo will also be hosting 100 FREE seminar sessions that will be the equivalent to learning ‘The Knowledge’ for the retrofit industry.
