Retro Expo Awards now open for entries

Following last weeks launch attended by over 150 delegates at the ICC in Birmingham, entries are now invited for this year’s prestigious Retro Expo Awards. The Awards take place at the National Motorcycle Museum on 5th November, on the first evening of the Retro Expo exhibition and conference at the NEC.

Unveiling the revised categories for the Awards, Director David Pierpoint said:

“The categories for this year’s awards reflect the fact that the national retrofit programme is now live. This has led to a number of new categories recognising the excellent work now being carried out by installers, assessors, providers and promoters.”

The 2013 categories are:

•    1. Building Fabric Product Innovation of the Year
•    2. Building Services Product Innovation of the Year
•    3. Domestic Retrofit Project of the Year
•    4. Non-domestic Retrofit Project of the Year
•    5. Large-scale Retrofit Project of the Year
•    6. Retrofit Installer of the Year
•    7. Retrofit Promoter of the Year
•    8. Retrofit Assessor of the Year
•    9. Green Deal Provider of the Year
•    10. Excellence in Retrofit Training Award
•    11. The DECC Retrofit Pioneer Award
•    12. Outstanding Personal Achievement of the Year

The deadline for entries is 20th September 2013. Shortlisting and winners will be carried by out by a Judging Panel comprising of some of the foremost experts in retrofit:
